Poems and Prayers and Delight Full Thoughts Support Children |
Poems and Prayers and Thoughts along the Journey Broken Pieces Broken pieces, shattered dreams Scattered memories, deception screens Clutching garments, gripped by fears Cluttered life soon appears Abba father, hear my prayer Tears of morning, distant stare Drops of pain, still unaware In the garden, in the gloom Weeds are choking, no flowers bloom A gentle voice whispers in my ear End your striving, the way is clear Beams from heaven, morning dew Threads of truth woven through Righteous clothing, radiant hue Discover a life that’s new. “What we weave on earth we’ll wear in heaven.” Prayer: Help us, our creator and source of light come to you when we are weary. Thank you that you help us carry our load. With you our burdens become light. From: Let Jesus Heal Your Hidden Wounds Inner healing is part of the process of undoing the hurtful effect of sin. This includes the results of our own sin and being sinned against. It is a process of restoring to wholeness the shattered image of God within us. As the wounding of sin is overcome we increasingly reflect the character of Jesus Christ.
2 Cor 3: 17 – 18 This is the process of sanctification, which comes from the work of the Holy Spirit within us.
Also this book says: Human nature is like a tightly woven cloth, the separate threads may be teased out but they have their full meaning only as a woven unity.
In another study that I did called “Reinventing Your Life” by Women of Faith it says: No matter how much you have or don’t have, love is one thing you can’t get enough of. If you expect to live a significant reinvented life, you’ll want to make sure that significant people are deeply involved and that their involvement is the kind that’s mutual and committed.
Poem: Not Ready I am not ready for a celebration – There’s too much pain around Looking into lonely faces, searching for common ground How do I look into their eyes and share this Jesus I’ve found Brokenness and wounds too deep, such a haunting sound Searching, grasping, floundering, the meaning clear as mud Glancing, peeking, seeking, desperate to scrape away the crud What has the world to offer to medicate the pain? What has the world to offer to erase the stain – of past mistakes, of lack of breaks, of little aches that soon consume our lives. One voice says save the best for one who really strives and drives to overcome the humdrum spell of mediocrity Please open my ears and open my eyes, you say the blind will see. Please open my hands and show me your plans to set the captives free. Then we can sing and dance and twirl, heart so full of love A celebration, some heaven on earth with your touch from above. In order to heal we need to know there is a need for digging or surgery into places we may not even be aware are hurt. In my reading from the Book - Let Jesus Heal the Hidden Wounds by Brad Long and Cindy Strickler: “Jesus is the way to enter the new reality called the Kingdom of God. This is spiritual healing in which the shattered relationship with God the Father is restored and we are placed again in the original harmonious relationship that God intended. Often in Jesus healing ministry after he established a relationship he would bring into the light that which was hidden.” These are thoughts and prayers from my journey. Father, because of my feelings of inadequacy I can’t seem to move forward with my music program. I am confused about what you want me to do with the program I am calling Life Song. I can’t find my own Life Song. I am afraid of what you are calling me to do. I don’t know how to run a business and I don’t know what you want me to do with my gifts of music and teaching. I am afraid if I get attention that I will be full of pride but I also worry about judgement of others and not doing things well enough. Please help me to be useful in this world and fulfill your purpose for me. Help me learn how to care for my family, manage money and overflow with joy while sharing my uniqueness with the world. Help me find my Life Song. I found some answers in the book, Let Jesus Heal Your Hidden Wounds “ If we see ourselves clearly, we will be able to see into the tangled heart of another. But when we do we must make it our goal to reconnect people with the heart of God.” Although I became a Christian in college and learned what the bible said about God’s love I found it difficult for it to go from my head to my heart. I still thought I need to be good and I strove to do my best. It was not until I experienced trying and I saw the Passion of the Christ that I realized there was nothing I could do. I needed to accept the gift of Jesus taking our place. Now all I could do was accept this grace, undeserved as it is. One time I was listening to Jesus when I came with my list of burdens. My kids were struggling with school. I could not keep up with the demands of being a homemaker. I was worried about relationships and people’s choices. I had friends pray and ask Jesus if he was with me and what he had to say. He said put your worries in a backpack. I will take them with me. In return you get a red balloon filled with helium to soar with peace. Wow, what an exchange! Ask Jesus for your red balloon, it’s so much better than a heavy backpack of trouble. Here are some de Light Full thoughts from the word of God. De Light Full Thoughts The truth about delight is that our creator will help us when we choose to believe anything is possible in spite of circumstances. I begin this study on the topic of delight with an example of someone with the name delight. I have no idea about his journey but it seems that he shared his passion. Born March 14, 1933, Chicago, Illinois, U.S. Quincy Delight Jones, Jr. , byname “Q” American musical performer, producer, arranger, and composer whose work encompasses virtually all forms of popular music. In order to understand more about what God says in his word about delight let’s look at the Definition of Delight: 1 : to take great
pleasure <delighted in playing the guitar> Passages of Light and Delight from www.bible.com We are to give joy and satisfaction to God. What a concept! Psalm 37:4: 4 Delight yourself in the LORD How do we delight in the Lord? 1. Study his word 2. Meditate on his promises 3. Memorize and put reminders of how much he loves you everywhere 4. Have a place to write about anxieties and the answers God gives. ( I put mine under a happy face jar. I wrote what I was worried about on file cards to symbolize that I am letting God take care of it.) 5. Join a small group where you can pray and listen to God together. I am to take pleasure in God’s commands. Psalm 119: 35
Direct me in the path of your commands,

rejoicing in his whole world We are God’s Masterpieces! I am a masterpiece I am a masterpiece Designed to be Beautiful Not perfected Look at my colors Don’t try to change me I am a masterpiece Part of a tapestry Part of a family Not finished Look at the threads Woven I am a masterpiece Glorious, priceless Released to glow And show off Bringing joy I am a masterpiece Since it was so hard for me to accept that I am a masterpiece I found it useful to write a declaration of who I am . This is a good thing to do to convince yourself of why you are here and remind yourself that you are God’s masterpiece. Then look at others through God’s eyes. No matter how they have messed up they are meant to be God’s masterpiece. Reaching out, touching dreams Threads of life sewing seams through Healing fabric of truth
Although I was in pain and not very actively involved in anything this is what I wrote about myself. It is because I knew the promise “ Those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. We will mount up with wings as eagles.” Isiah 40:31
Here is who God created me to Be and because Jesus will restore me I can say:
I am a beautiful, energetic, bubbly, confident and creative woman. I sparkle with truth and attract others to dip their feet or plunge into God’s love. I create through movement, music and songs, colors and words which draw others into God’s healing love and tenderly entice them to face brokenness and explore their own journey towards wholeness discovering God’s destiny for them.
Poem about the Light and Comfort of God The light of God surrounds me The love of God enfolds me The power of God protects me The presence of God watches over me Wherever I am, God is with me. Light 2 Samuel 23The Last Words of David 1 These are the last words of David:

through me; 3 The God of Israel spoke, 4 he is like the light of morning at

Passage Psalm 18:28: 28
You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; How? He helps us see the light in the darkness by chosing to believe it is there. Transformation Caught in a web of confusion A loving God – an illusion Judgement, misconception Questions – what direction? Fear of the resurrection – Why? Satan’s deception – we weren’t meant to fly What are the desires of my heart What am I to do with this new start? If I am sure of my worth Help me understand this new birth Your gentle hand lifts me out of danger The stranger fades from view Then I see you – Abba Father proudly showing me the story of my life – in strife, encouraging, smiling, chuckling over my mishaps There for me when life saps my energy, skill and talents Saying go for it, keep dancing, singing Let my love flow through you – golden peace, energy release Discover your passions that I have given you Colors woven together – the tapestry Uniquely yours to share with the world.
Ask the one who made you what is your part in the tapestry? What is uniquely yours to share with the world? |
